ATOmate have announced their latest integration with Nimbus Portal Solutions, which will significantly reduce the administrative burden of processing, checking, distributing, and managing ATO documents for users of the Nimbus Document Management and Document Portal platforms.
It’s a big win for accountants using Nimbus, given the cumbersome task involved in processing the copious amounts of ATO correspondence that cross their desks. The integration will significantly reduce data entry, double handling, and opportunities for human error by automating the core components of the ATO document handling process.
Upon receipt of ATO documentation by mail or via the ATO Tax Agent Portal, ATOmate will sort all correspondence, check if it matches against an estimate from the practice management platform, and then either automatically send it to the client, or flag it for review, depending on rules set by the practice.
The integration will also allow for a more streamlined approach to drafting, sending, and archiving correspondence by automatically preparing emails and letters, and filing copies of those directly back into the Nimbus platform – providing a complete and accurate record of what has been communicated.
Stan Corner, CEO of Business Automation Works who created ATOmate, recognises the administrative burden firms face in managing compliance documentation, particularly when combined with increasingly complex data privacy regulations.
“It’s really important that practices are able to find solutions that work together to leverage a single source of truth, and that are helping them overcome the raft of obligations and rules they need to follow,” Mr Corner said.
ATOmate’s automated workflow will save users countless hours of data entry, while easily handling privacy requirements: ATOmate automatically redacts all instances of Tax File Numbers from ATO documents filed and sent.
The sentiment is echoed by Nimbus Portal Solutions Director John Woodbridge.
“We want to remove the friction that clients face when working across multiple platforms and help them to streamline their key business processes as much as possible,” Mr Woodbridge said.
“By integrating with ATOmate, Nimbus users can now automate their ATO document processes, leverage their existing systems, and take back time for work that clients really value”.
The integration with Nimbus is the latest partnership announced by ATOmate, who have been working hard this year to extend their integrations with complimentary practice management platforms such as Xero Practice Manager, Workflow Max, Greatsoft Cloud, MYOB, APS, Reckon Elite, Sage Handisoft and others.
